Last weekend we got to go on our big family vacation we have been saving for. We went to the Valley and stayed at The Pointe~Arizona Grand Resort. We went to Chucke E. Cheeses, Ihop Applebees, The Rainforest Cafe, The mall, Bass Pro shop Swam a lot, Broke down a lot, slept not so much. We seriously had a blast. It was so fun just our little family. I LOVE these 3 sweet people in my life. I can not tell you how blessed I am!!!

After I got home from girls camp we went to Woodland Lake park. It was sooooo much fun!!! The girls loved it and it was fun to be with my family.

We went camping as a family at the beginning of the summer. It was a lot of fun but stressful at the same time. I am so glad we went though. We found a perfect spot had had yummy food and company!!! Look at this handsome man. He is my favorite!!

One night while I was making dinner and Koby was painting we heard this.

Tatum: Mom I am giving Gracie a hair cut.(she fakes it a lot with her fingers so I didn't think much of it. I told her she needed to come eat and she said ok I will finish the haircut after dinner. Well when Koby and I walked into our room while they were eating we saw hair everywhere. You can see in these pictures how she cut the front and then she cut a lot in the back. I was SOOOO mad. Its sooooo bad! But I think we have all learned our lessons

Tatum had her first Primary activity where she served Heavenly Father (washed te sunbeam chairs with a toothbrush and cleaner. which she LOVED) then made valentines and valentines cookies. Her Valentine was for Koby so we ran over and gave it to him at work.

Thats how far behind I am! Sheesh! We got to spend a lot of time with family. All of our family. It was so nice to see all of them! Christmas was wonderful and I love it always so much. We seemed to be blessed hugely this year. Silly little things, to big huge things. And I can't even begin to name them all. But it was one thing after the other! Thank you EVERYONE who has been apart of our lives and blessed us or helped us or served us. We are so grateful!! We also lost our Grandma this year. That was probably the biggest and hardest thing this year. It's such a hard thing losing someone close to you. What scares me even more is who knows what will happen this year. We could lose someone even closer. But I am going to try not even think about it. Because I just have to trust Heavenly Father. Its so scary for me cause I am a worry wart, but death is not the end and I am so grateful we will see Grandma Peterson again! She was probably banging pots and pots right along with us New years Eve! I hope everyone has a wonderful new year. There are definetly some goals I hope to achieve this year, including blogging better. But ones that are even more important than that. They are on posted on my fridge so I hope they will be a daily reminder of all I want to become! Happy New Year Everyone!

You can't see it here, I will need to post another picture, but heres the story. When I got my wedding ring I was pregnant with Tatum so it was a little big. It was always falling off. Well about 6 months ago I lostit and could not find it anywhere. I thought I lost it bagging groceries. I even got up in the middle of the night searching once. Anyways, little did I know that Koby had stolen it and he got it sized for me and added a couple diamonds to it. Its BEAUTIFUL! Its perfect for me. Not too big not too small just perfect!! I was shocked

Christmas eve getting our jammies!

Chirstmas was wonderful for us. I got a bike with a trailer on the back for the girls, and an ipod too, along with my ring and smaller things. Koby got a gym membership. A weekend getaway to a ranch place he was been dying to go to, and other fun things. The girls all got little things too. We had so much fun with friends and family. It went so fast for us, but I know it will be here before we know it again!!! Sorry this is soooo late!

Ok, this post is going to be a Happy Birthday/very grateful post to my friend.

Last year during softball season I met this girl. Our husbands played on the same ward team and so we sat together and became friends. I grew up with her husband, and Koby likes him so we all got along well. We started hanging out every once in awhile, and I really enjoyed being around her. Softball season ended and I was nervous I friendship would too, but she continued to be my friend. We went to the movies together, shopping, talked a lot. did crafts together, all kinds of things. What amazes me about her is she is genuinely my friend, no strings attached. She has changed my life. Its been awhile since we met and I still love her tons.

I think she means so much to me because I have never truly had a friend that was always there for me. No one liked me. But, I have finally found a true friend in her. She recently moved to the valley and I am NOT happy about it, cause I don't get to see her and her sweet baby NEARLY enough. But she will always be my best friend. I might not mean as much to her as she does to me but she is awesome.

VALERIE LARSON I LOVE YOU!!! Your my best friend. You have changed my life and made me feel like finally someone likes me for me! The memories we have made I will never forget, and I hope we have many many more! Come home to Snowflake soon!

Ok EVERYBODY! I know I haven't been keeping up and I have lots to post about and lots of pics, but for now here is this......
I am ordering candles this next week. There are so many holiday specials and I have my own specials too! I can't tell you how many AWESOME smells there are! A bad couple of days....

My sweet husband. He turns one year older tomorrow. Man I love him! He is seriously amazing. Theres not anyone like him. I hope he has a wonderful birthday, and all his wishes come true but one thing will be holding him back.

His sweet absolutely beautiful Grandma ( my grandma too) passed away in her sleep Friday morning. Its weird because I hear of peoples Grandmas dying, and I think "how sad, but at least its not a husband or child or parent" Well I was wrong. THis was been so awful, its hurts sooooo bad. She has seriously changed our lives. She loves our baby girls. On there birthday she ALWAYS brings them a card with some quarters in them and a couple pieces of gun and a balloon. Tatum LOVES and CHERISHES those. She wont spend her money. The last time we got to see her alive was on Sunday. One week ago. We were having her birthday party. She bore her testimony. She loved and held on to each of her great grandbabies. Tatum ran over and sat on her lap. We got her testimony on camera. I was so impressed. It was like she knew. That party wasn't like any other we have had for her. She knew something.....She has always treated me like a grandchild, even though I only married into the family. That night I gave her a big hug and kissed her on the cheek and told her how much I loved her. If only I knew that would be my last time I would see her alive....i would of held her tighter and longer, I would of expressed my feelings more. But I am still soooo grateful I said and did what I did. I am so glad we WENT!
Friday morning around 11 Koby came through the door. I could tell he had been crying. SO I freaked out. His parents were driving to Utah that morning, and that is where my mind drifted to. But he told me Grandma Peterson had passed away. She was more of a Grandma to me than anything. She will be missed sooo much. I am sooo sorry Grandpa. Koby is hanging in there. He was doing good until we walked into church and he saw Grandoa sitting by himself crying. Thats when Koby and I lost it. Koby doesn't want to celebrate his Birthday tomorrow, because he and the rest of his family is mourning. But Grandma would never want him to not celebrate his birthday because of him. In fact she will probably be dancing all day for him tomorrow since she is no longer in any pain!!! So If you happen to go into Ed's tomorrow please wish Koby a happy birthday. He is having a hard time, but I want him to have a good day!!!

So I just want you all out there in Blog world that I have not been on for a while, so Kacie is at work right now and I figured I would get on and write a little something, now you see I have not been the best husband lately and I'm not proud of and Kacie when you read this i just want you to know that I am so sorry and I am the luckiest guy in the world to have you as my wife and mother of my children I will admit I have become lazy and not very apart of the family I guess you would say but babe I love you so much and I know that is very hard to believe right now but you are my light my world my everything and I don't know what I would do If I lost you and that will never happen anyway because I would not allow it. Babe thank you so much for all that you do for this little family of ours you are amazing. I LOVE YOU BABE more then ever.

Dear Tatum, I love you so much! You truly light of my life. I would never ever ever trade you for anything. Your mine. But next time the missionaries come over for dinner, will you not entertain them by sticking my peas i made you up both your nostrils. The noise you made trying to get them out made me sick. And then when I figured out what the problem was the poor Elders couldn't stop laughing at you. It cut me to the core when they said they couldn't wait to write the parents and tell them about you. Next time we are a part of a missionaries letter, do you mind do something sweet instead. Poor Dad was the lucky winner to take Mom's eyebrow tweezers up your nose to retrieve the Sweet Green peas. At least we made the day of those 2 misisonaries. I guess your good for something! :)

Oh ya, and next time you plan on slipping from my grasp at Church, wait until Dad can chase you. Since Dad had already taken Gracie out, you let me chase you ALL the way up to the speaker and then back down to the end of the Chapel. Too bad we were visiting another ward. Wouldn't of been so bad if it was ours. Oh but thank you for folding your arms as you ran and laughed your head off. TOo bad I never caught up to you since I was wearing a wrap around skirt and high heels. The Spirit was there at church until the whole congragation sat there and laughed at me, knowing it was a useless attempt. I have never been so humiliated, and embarrassed. But at least that sweet old man sitting on the side had a good time. When he told me he had never laughed so hard in his....what 80 years.....of living. I am sure glad I was able to help him with that.

1. Where is the best/cheapest place to buy fabric? I dont have many choices up here, but I am willing to travel. :) (or online)
2. I have NEVER used a sweing machine or quilted, any help in that department would be MUCHO appreciated.
3. I am REALLY excited to get creative and do my best. But I need to go cheaply as possible for the supplies. So if you have any ideas on what is cheapest where please let me know!

I know I get mushy like this a lot on this blog. But I feel this is where i can vent my feelings. I just read on a friends blog about a family who is having a very hard time for about the last month. Her husband has been in the hospital for about a month. Yesterday he passed away. If you want to read there story there blog is kamandjami.blogspot.com Start at 4th of July weekend. And there will also be fundraisers set up to help this family in need if anyone can help.

I hate that it takes things like this to make me see all of my blessings. I have to admit, this past week has been so wonderful and all I can think about is how BLESSED I am. Truly. I have those silly little trials that seem HUGE to me, everyday just like everyone else, but then I see something like this happen, and I can not imagine. I would not make it without my husband. It would be so hard. I know Heavenly Father will not give you more than you can handle, and I hope I won't have to go through something like this. But if I do have to, or if I have to leave this early I want to know I did EVERYTHING on this earth to keep this family eternal. That I kept my side of the bargain. I have SO MOCH to do to get to this point. I am so far from perfect.

I just want to say how grateful I am for knowing that families are forever. That even through trials, maybe especially through trials we will be blessed and loved as always. I am so grateful that my girls will be mine always. I often think (I am such a worry wart) that if I died, that Koby is so young and would remarry. As he should. I always tell him he better not, but I hope he knows that of course I would want him to be happy, and that would mean a companion. But what I hate is the thought of sharing my husband with someone else. I think that means I need more faith that Heavenly Father knows us individually and trusting in him is the only way to find happiness. I hope that all my family has a long time on this earth still, I am not good with change. I could stay in the same house, same job, same food, same schedule, same everything and never get bored. (almost never) But I know that isn't possible. I have SO much to be grateful for. I need to show my gratefulness by trying my best to be who I should be.
I am soooooo grateful for my husband and his health. I bring him up particuraly just cause this story has of losing a husband. He lifts me up and makes me want to be better. He is a good example, and loves me for me, flaws and all. I love him so much. I am so truly grateful he is mine. I hope to cherish him and our time together more every single day. To not sweat the small things. To not let a fight go on just because I am waiting to hear him say sorry. to be better so one day I will be worthy to be his queen and to be with him through all eternity.

Tatum and Gracie get along SO well! They are really good friends most of the time. I just thought this was so cute them sitting there eating their snacks together! I love my girls!

One morning I was trying to clean and catch up on the house, so I put up the gate so they could just play inTatum's room and they sat at the gate a bawled. Heaven forbid they have to play toys! Sheesh what kind of mother am I!!!

Ok so we were having some AWFUL car problems and wasn't quite sure what were going to do. Koby rode the scooter to work while I had no car at home. It was stressful. You should of seen me, I am sure I was quite a sight this one time when I took Koby lunch I made lunch and then put it in the bottom of the stroller and put the girls on. Now this stroller is a BEAST! Its a double but one of them old ones, it gets the job done but it is SO HARD to push! Anyways I only live like 4 or 5 blocks from Kobys work but I swear it took forever, my calves were burning, I was sweating in places I didn't know you sweat! haha! It was something awful. To make a long story short I had to call my Dad to come save me so I wouldn't have to walk home. Man I need to get in shape!
Anyways, we were at the point of being very worried about what we were going to do. I REALLY needed to get to show low. (Valerie even took me out on a "date" to get me out of the house, where we went and watched the proposal. It was fun to get out even though I had been crying all day so I had mascara running down my face and my eyes were puffy, poor girl had to be seen by me. ) So one night I had JUST made dinner and I get this call from our wonderful friend Julie Hensley saying "I am coming over right now and we are going for a drive all of you be ready" So we scarf down our food and she shows up and we all get in. She says it might be a long ride so be ready. We end up in Show Low, and just turned at the light when she says "Here is the deal somebody (heaven sent) has given me 4,000 dollars to give you towards a car. They want to remain completely annonymous and you will pay me monthly, cause they dont want you to know who it is." So Julie had so dilligently searched the whole whit mountains for cars for us to look at and while we were up there she showed us them. Can you believe it? Well anyways after a few days lots of dealerships and salesmen later, and one less minivan, we found a beautiful Ford Explorer 2002. Can I say I am in Love!?? Cause I am! I love it!
First of all a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to these special people in our lives. Without there help there is NO WAY we could of gotten anything, let alone this beautiful thing. You have blessed our lives in ways you will never know. Gave us hope when we we running out, we will owe you forever even though we dont know who you are! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
And to our sweet Julie, who searched and searched for us! Thank you so much! You are truly an amazing friend and we are so glad we have you!!! I have no idea if the "people" have a blog or get on mine but Julie if you can show them this so they can know our appreciation!? Thank you Julie for everything!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. Koby had to work in the morning but once he got off we were able to do stuff. Friday night we had a wonderful barbecue with Koby's family. And then we had the fireworks Saturday night. Our tradition is to go get Sonic drinks and make some homemade popcorn and go park at the church to watch the fireworks! It was so fun, as long as we covered both of the girls ears they enjoyed the show. That day though before the fireworks our power steering went out! Ugh. Then the Monday after the 4th, our car went CRAZY and it completely died on us. We went a while without a car. Thank you valerie for sharing your beautiful car with me! These are the only pics I got of the 4th. They were exhausted!

The 24th was awesome! Had so much fun, went to the parade, the pioneer park craft show and ten the fireworks later that night. Tatum was pretty used to the fireworks by then and we didn't have to plug her ears. Gracie is a different story though. Still having car trouble at this point. (story to be continued)

Father's Day!

For Father's day Valerie and I made these candy vases/bouqets(spelling). For our Dad's and husbands. Koby also got tickets to Transformers 2. Which he loved of course! I love you Koby your the best Dad these girls could ask for. Same goes to my Dad!!!

I think between me and the girls, we ate more of the candy than Koby.

Tender Mercies.....

Last night started out awful. Tatum would wake up screaming and then Gracie would wake because of it. Once we got them calmed down and back to sleep, it wasn't a half hour later it would happen again only this time Gracie would wake up Tatum. This continued for 3 and a half hours. I am not sure what the deal was. Tatum finally fell asleep by Koby, and Gracie was onyl happy near me, and I was so tired so i brought here into my bed and layed her next to me. I thought she would start crying or crawling wanting to play, but she immediately put her fingers in her mouth and cuddled up to me. It was a neat experience for me. For about an hour she layed there stroking my face or kissing me or patting my back. Every once in awhile she would get up only to lay on top of me, whe she rested her head on my heart. I couldn't believe how calm she was. She stard wide eyed at me and i just stared back. It made me sit there and think a lot. Tender mments like that, make me realize how fragile and sweet life is. I have so far to go to be where i need to be. It scares me to think I may not be with my family forever if I continue the way I am. I dont do horrible awful things, but I still dont do everything right, not even close. And holding my little baby last night made me realize I need to try harder to be better for them. Tender mercies in my life make me want to be more like Him.

One year ago Tomorrow (the 10th) My sweet precious little baby was born! I was so anxious to meet her. She is so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes to remember that night just one year ago. Its weird how you feel like it was just yesterday you had her cause it went so fast, but at the same time I feel like I have had her FOREVER. Which I guess I kind of have eternally speaking. I went into the doctor that tuesday at 9 in the morning. She said that it looked like I would be going in today, if I hadn't gone in before she wanted me to go back at 4 to get checked again. But her guess was I wouldn't make it until then. About 3:00 I started having big contractions, and my doctor told me to go on up. So we dropped Tatum off at Grammy's and headed up. They made me walk the hospital for an hour, and the pain kept increasing. After the hour was up they put in my room and the dude came to give me the epidural. This was about 9:00. At about 9:45 it was time to push. One push and I mean one push. And she was out. Beautiful as ever. Small but beautiful. Gracie Lou Peterson weighed in at 6'2. And was PERFECT. She still is. I love her so much and I hope she has a wonderful birthday. My sweet little baby.

Day 2, 3 , and 4

Day 2~ Ok Koby I am ready for you to come home, the girls are being good, but I miss you. Luckily I only have to wait until around 4 tomorrow.

Day 3~ 4:00 rolls aroundm and there is no Koby, 5:00 no Koby. I have to be at work at 5:30. So I call and ask one of the other wives if they have heard from them. (they dont have service on the lake, and Koby doesn't have a cell phone) She said they haven't even left yet. Were planning on leaving around 6 or 6:30. So I am getting nervous, I am scheduled to work till 9 and koby should be home until 10 or 11. So my sister comes over and I go to work trying to figure out what to do. I didn't want Madison to have to babysit that long. My Mom and her had been babysitting for me all week. Once I got to work and it hit about 7, my manager told me to leave and one of the people that were supposed to leave earlier would stay for me. Whew! Thank heavens! Koby pulls in at about 10:30. Of course Tatum is awake so excited to see him, Gracie however didn't make it past 8. Poor thing! I sure am glad he made it home safe!

Day4~ Its been so nice to have him home. Since it had been my first time alone, I learned I could do it again if I had to, it was even kind of fun in a weird way. BUT So glad he is home. Our family isn't complete without him.

I have survived the first day without koby. Dont get me wrong, I barely survived I miss him so much. But I still haven't made it through the first night. I am stocked up on romantic books and non scary movies. I can't wait until Saturday night comes!

Our Weekend...

Our weekend was definetly an interesting one. Saturday Koby went to work and while he was gone me and the girls went tp my Mom's. They were working in the yard so we were just hanging outside with them. I was holding Gracie and there was a hoe laying on the ground, so I kept trying to step on it to get it to come up and so I could grab it and put it up. I was just being lazy with her in my arms and didn't want to bend down. Well obviously I stepped on it too hard, and missed the handle because it whacked me so hard in the cheek. Oh my gosh it hurt! I am such a dork. It sound like somthing hitting cement it was so loud and came at me so fast. haha! Needless to say I am bruised and hurting now. Ugh!

Then on Sunday Koby and I had the privledge of speaking in church. Yippee!! My sister came and watched the girls for us upstairs in the cry room. So we were able to see Tatum and she was waving to us the whole time. If I just kept my eyes on her, I didn't get too scared. I am just glad it is over. I shouldn't have to speak again for at LEAST a year right???

Then we were all getting in bed, and slowing down for the night at about 9:30 when we hear a knock at the door. Koby goes and gets it cause I am already laying down and in my pajamas. This is when I hear Police Officers at the door. Oh no! This couldn't be good, right??? So, I get up and go in there, where I hear that they recived a 911 phone call from here, and are wondering if everything is okay. Now this has happened before when Tatum was like a year old, she had played with the phone and called 911. So this is automatically what we are all thinking happened again. So Koby goes and gets both our phones where neither one of them are off the hook, and neither one of the redials say 911. And there is no dial tone. Almost as if we had another phone we didn't know about. So we are all baffled as well as the officers. So now, I guess it looks like to the officers that we are hiding something. So they say that they need to take a look around and search our house. And I thinking man my house is all the way cleaned perfectly where I want officers searching it. But then I dont want them thinking I am hiding anything. So they search and search. Which as much as I make fun of this, I am glad that they do it, becuase if there was something wrong, or if it was at a different house where I or my children were and needed help, I feel better know ing even if the occupants say nothing is a matter they check and make sure just in case. So they dont find any kidnapped children in our house or any missing phones. All of a sudden the dispatcher is able to call in and get through our house. They eventually realize we aren't hiding anything, although dont get me wrong, they were always nice. So they left us alone. We still don not have any clue what happened. Or how we had no dial tone, or how 911 was called from our phone number. It kind of freaked me out all night. I wish I had an explaination, even only to make me feel better. And luckily my house wasn't too messy! Geeze I am glad this weekend is over I hope for a better one this week where it will be started on Thursday! Koby leaves for Lake Powell with the priests. Cause he is the priest advisor. He wont be back until Saturday night. And the girls and I, we will be having a weekend of Chinese food (koby hates it, my favorite), Eva's shopping and relaxation! Woot woot! Wait a minute I have the girls, maybe not relaxation. It will be a lonnnnnggggg weekend without Koby!

MyMothers Day flowers! I came home from work to a perfectly clean house dinner ready and these beautiful flowers and note! I know I know, Tatum is too old for a binky, I will be weaning her in the next couple of weeks. But she is being potty trained right now so I thought I would wait until after that. She only uses her binky at bed time. She is getting so big, and is such a pleasure to be around. We just love her to death!!!

Gracie is getting so big. She will be a year old in a couple of weeks!! ugh! I want her to stop growing up! Shes my baby. I LOVE doing her hair, it is getting curly like Tatum's. So cute! Gracie is unbelievably soooo good. Its ridiculous. She is always so happy and smiling and just is so cuddly and lovey dovey!! We love her to death. She is crawling EVERYWHERE like crazy, and is starting to stand up on her own. I am sure it wont be long before she is walking. Then I will be chasing around two girlies. uh oh!

Chelsea. you are the best of friend. We have got to get together again soon. Cruisin' Show Low with you....hanging out with all your show low buddies. Going to sonic all the time. Going to the dollar store with Amie and buying tons of plastic dorky earrings, (but we thought they were cool) i love you and can't wait to meet Preston.
Do you girls remember when we had the contest to see who could go the longest with out shaving their legs? Do you remember who won??? Even though throughout cheer we hated it and complained all the time, I look back now and see how many fun memories we had. We should all get together again soon and jam out to some of our old dances haha!!

My good friend Kelli and I. She posted some pictures of us and some of our other friends on her blog, and I thought what a fun Idea. Kelli I love you to death. You were always a true friend, and there for me when I had no other friends. Do you remember sitting behind Mobil with water balloons, and launching them at cars that drove by. We have tons of good memories and I am soooo glad you didn't break your neck when you fell during cheer!!!! Sorry some of the pictures are really small I had cut them to put on my bulletin board. I have been thinking a lot lately about life and how fragile it is. I am so blessed...I have SO much to be grateful for. Today in Relief Society, the lesson was on Not fearing, only believing. having Faith. And it made me think...I live in fear. I do, no doubt about it. I fear, my girls or husband, or family members getting really sick. I fear...intrusion on my home. I fear the economy, and If I will continue to be able to feed my family. I am a WORRY WART!!! Big Time! I get it from my Mom. But I think I am even worse. I was just looking at a friends blog, and she has lost one of her children. And as I sat there reading her story, and feeling her pain, I couldn't help but think, how would I be in that situation. Seriously, just thinking about me losing a child or my husband makes my heart burn and tears come to my eyes. I dont think I would handle it well. I dont think I would have the faith at this point in my life to be o.k., and to keep moving on for the rest of my children. I am selfish that way, and it is something I have GOT to work on. I truly hope I never have to go through such a tragedy. But today in Relief Society I learned something very important that was directed to me. I have got to have faith, to believe. I dont need to worry about things like death and trials (although I will never stop worrying about that kind of stuff) and worry more about, "What am I doing to prepare myself for Forever. Am I having family night every Monday, am I kneeling down with my husband and children everynight and praying with them, are we reading are scriptures everyday? Am I paying my tithing in faith, and not in just obedience? " Yes, my family is sealed forever in the Temple, but those promises are only ours if we do our part too. I need to turn my prayers more to forgiveness and thankfulness, and how I can serve others, and other things. I need to try harder...I need to love every single moment in my life.....I need to live the way I know Heavenly Father would be proud of me. I would love to hear someday in the future, as I am kneeling before my Savior, I am proud of you Kacie, you were the kind of mother/daughter/wife/neighbor/friend/sister I always knew you could be! I am FAR from this point, but I will continue to try harder and work towards this because I can not imagine a FOREVER with out my FAMILY!!!

the weather has been beautiful lately
I feel like I have come alive again or out of hibernation
Its almost as if I am on vacation it is so nice.
We spend all our extra time outside.

Isn't she just beautiful! She just brings us so much joy. Her vocabulary has expanded soooooo much the past year. Just ask my Mom. On sunday she went to nursery all by herself, and didn't cry. Which is a HUGE accomplishment for her, so she wanted to call Grammy and tell her. My Mom freaked out for her sake and said how awesome that is, and then my Mom says "So are you going to go on the big girl potty now?" And Tatum replies by saying "Grammy, Calm down grammy" haha! It was stinkin hilarious. Like my mom was pushing it to far, like Tatum was saying one thing at a time grammy. Then yesterday the plummer came to my house to fix the sink, and Tatum could not figure out why this strange man was in her house, so she looks at him at says "What da 'eck is goin on?" She sounds like an indian when she says it. Then when he was leaving he was ealking behind her, and she says "Momma that man following me!" She constantly is saying "Not fair!" or "calm down mommy" I am making her sound like a baby, she actually talks soooooo good. My mom is constantly saying "Are you sure she isn't 10?" She LOVES Gracie, constantly protecting and loving on her!! Life is good with Tatum, she is growing up so beautifully!!!

This Picture she was being a stinker and we told her she needed to sit on her bed, she said she didn't want to sit on her bed she wanted to sit in the cupboard. (she was just being goofy) so, we put her in. This cupboard is the one above the refridgerator. She didn't like it, thats her crying, though it almost looks like a smile! So now when she doen't behave we could tell her "you want to sit in the cupboard?" haha jk!!

Tatum picked out this LOVELY outfit!! And snow beanie and her swimsuit, just so you know she didn't go out in public like that!

A few weeks ago, Koby's sister came over to play. She is 6 months younger than Tatum, yes that means this is her AUNT! But they usually get along well. How ironic that she wears a shirt that says "I want candy" My mother in law is so good about never letting them have candy. The other funny part is her name is Shug, and the grandkids call her "shuger" even though she is very anti sugar!! haha!

Devin is leaving on his mission in a few days! (kobys younger brother) We are sure going to miss him. There will be no one left to tease and humiliate us! He LOVES the girls, when he gets back Tatum will be almost FIVE and Gracie will be THREE!!! Gosh dang it!!! This weekend was full of stuff all around Dev! We had family pictures, farewell/easter dinner, his farewell talk, and our niece Kemalee's blessing. We love Devin and are going to miss him bunches, but are so proud of him!! (he asked me if I will send him packages once a month,....I just laughed)

The New COOKIE EXCHANGE LEADER!!! haha! Isn't that funny, it is even an official calling. Once a month I get the relief society ladies together at my house and they each bring 3 dozen cookies and we share and swap and eat!! Each month I have to think of a different theme....for example; Christmas, no bakes, summer, chocolate. I have to think of different things, and then a small game or something! Im excited, it will be something different, and a way to make myself get creative!

The New on Gracie...

I am writing this mainly for my benefit, I'm not so good with journals, so if you dont want to hear the gross details, then dont read this.

After we got Gracie's medication Saturday, we continued to give it to her throughout the weekend when we were supposed to. Never missed a time. Her "bump" wasn't getting better. In fact, it was getting bigger and redder, it was almost a dark purple now. I was getting soooo nervous, it didn't look good at all. So I called the doctor to ask if it was normal for this to get worse before it got better, even witht the medicine, he wanted to see her again. By th etime her could fit her in, I was supposed to be at work. So....Koby was the winner. He and Tatum and Gracie all headed to the doctor, and waited in the waiting room for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once the doctor saw what Gracie was looking like, he didn't like it at all. He decided that he needed to cut it open and let all the infection (puss) out. So he gave her a shot in the neck (ouch!) and then cute it open (ouch! ouch!) My poor sweet baby was as good as could be. Way better than was to be expected, I am told. Of course she cried......a lot......but she is just the sweetest baby ever. No one should have to go through that, especially a little baby. Then, he stuffed gauze in it about 6 inches, in the incision, so it wouldn't sweel up again. He did that by pulling apart the two pieces of skin he just cut open and shoving it in there. My poor baby....I am so glad I didn't have to watch it, but at the same time I am so sick I wasnt there for her. Then he wanted to see her again today. He said it looked WAY better, but he wanted to take the gauze out and put more. So this time I had to watch it. SO SAD!!!!! We have to go back tomorrow, HOPEFULLY he will take it out for good, and let it close up, but I just want what ever will make her better, my poor sweet little baby!!! I am so sad the has to go through this, but at the same time it could be so much worse. I could of been told this weekend my baby was cancer, so I am so thankful!!! I love you Gracie Girl!!!

Yesterday was a rough day. Koby and I both had to work, and at the same time. So, I dropped the girls off at my Mom's and headed to work. When I got off and went to pick them up, my Mom and my sister pointed out to me this awfully strange bump behind Gracie's ear. Bump is not a good worried, try mor like a hill or mountain, golf ball size. It was RED and SWOLLEN and BRUSIED and VERY HARD. They said she was a really good girl but the had just seen her tugging on it, and noticed it and were worried. Then it all came back to me. The last few days, Gracie has constantly been tugging on her ear and had a fever. I have been giving her medicine but NEVER noticed this huge thing on her. Honestly, it looked like a tumor growing. I felt like a horrible Mom, that I never noticed. Anyways, my Mom had no idea what it was, and said it would be smart to take her in to the doctor. I HATE going to the doctor, because I feel like I always jump the gun, and there is NEVER anything wrong with her, and so I just end up wating 80 bucks. It was Saturday, so the clinic wasn't open. I could take her to the hospital but I would be in debt forever..... plus I thought there was a chance it was an allergic reaction or possible a bug bite, or maybe even she just bumped it awfully hard. So we took her to the doctors house, a family friend, and he said it LOOKED like a swollen lymph node. Because of the redness and warmth. But it could possibly be a tumor too. He needed to look in her ears and told me to meet him down at the clinic. So I am worried sick now, once we get there, he checks her out, and say that in that ear is an ear infection, and that causes the lymph node to Swell and get infected like that. We are counting are blessings that that is all it was. We are so lucky. He said it was not a good idea to wait until monday to get our antibiotic though, and since Silver Creek Pharmacy was closed, we had to go to Show Low. Our poor girl, SEEMS to be doiing okay. She is doing a lot of sleeping, and whining, but for having that HUGE thing on her (I CAN NOT IMAGINe how it must feel, it looks like it is sooooo painful) she is being soooo good!!! She always has been a good girl! Today it seems to not be worse, but I dont know if I see anything getting better yet. Last night it just kept getting bigger and bigger, so I am grateful it was grown. The doctor said it should go away in a few days! POOR GIRL!!!
